Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is currently hiring Event Staff for a temporary period from October to December at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. The role focuses on delivering high-quality guest experiences across busy event schedules, with duties spanning welcome, service, and post-event cleanup.

You will join a dynamic events team on a zero-hour basis, working on weekdays and peak shifts, with perks like weekly pay, staff meals, and a collaborative environment. Availability for peak shift days is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with event set-up and break-down
• Greeting and directing guests
• Providing food and beverage service
• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the bar
• Cleaning duties associated with service areas, bar equipment, furniture and event spaces
• Supporting the smooth running of Christmas parties and other seasonal functions
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, professionalism and customer service at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
