Job summary

Restaurant Associates at the Royal Armouries, Leeds, is seeking enthusiastic Event Staff for a temporary Oct–Dec period. You will help deliver a busy calendar of events, provide food and beverage service, greet guests, and assist with set-up and break-down.

Shifts include long and evening options; you should be available for peak Thursday–Saturday work. The role offers £12.71 per hour, paid weekly, and the chance to gain transferable skills in hospitality within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, catering, or events.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident and engaging with guests.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with event set-up and break-down
• Greeting and directing guests
• Providing food and beverage service
• Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the bar
• Cleaning duties associated with service areas, bar equipment, furniture and event spaces
• Supporting the smooth running of Christmas parties and other seasonal functions
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, professionalism and customer service at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
