Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.

With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role

As an Event Coordinator for Pride in London, you will be responsible for the planning and organisation of one of our signature events—either the prestigious Pride Gala or the vibrant Pride Afterparty. This role requires strong organisational skills to develop and implement comprehensive plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Working within our Special Projects Manager, you will help ensure the successful delivery of an unforgettable celebration that supports Pride in London's mission and engages our diverse communities.

  • This role has a flexible start time; however, we would be looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
  • Please be aware this is a VOLUNTEER role.
  • The average weekly commitment would be up to and around 4-6 hours per week.

Your Responsibilities

Planning and Organisation: Developing and implementing plans for projects, events or programs, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Communication: Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to convey project updates, requests, and ensure alignment.

Coordination: Working with different teams or departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time, and that resources are utilised effectively.

Tracking and Monitoring: Monitoring project progress, tracking deadlines, and reporting on key metrics to ensure projects stay on track.

Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the project or event, to have a smooth execution.

Support: Providing administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and managing communications.
