Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, proactive and organised Events Coordinator to support the delivery of our most important events and experiences. These range from large-scale festivals with 2-3k people to smaller exclusive community tours and gatherings. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small flexible team and contribute to growing the UK’s most respected car communities. For the right candidate, the role offers good development opportunities with close exposure to other management disciplines such as marketing, publishing, communications and finance.

This involves support to the Head of Events (direct line manager) and wider Club team in the planning and delivery of Porsche Club GB events. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain practical experience in event management, be part of a passionate team, and contribute to one of the UK’s most respected car clubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Club’s national and regional events, including exhibitions, track days, driving tours, and member functions.
  • Liaise with venues, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and members, to ensure the smooth execution of events.
  • Provide operational support on-site at events, including set-up, registration, guest liaison, and post-event debrief.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as travel, accommodation, equipment, and catering requirements.
  • Support the preparation of event documentation, including schedules, risk assessments, and provision of briefing notes.
  • Contribute to event promotion by assisting with the preparation of marketing materials, website content, and social media updates working with the team.
  • Monitor event performance, gather feedback, and assist in compiling post-event reports.
  • Ensure all events are delivered in accordance with the high standards and values of Porsche Club GB.

Person Specification

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
  • A flexible approach, with weekend work as required.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications
  • Full UK driving licence, and willingness to train in respect of potential trailer towing skills and to drive club commercial/van as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience (internship, placement, or employment) in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Knowledge of the automotive or motorsport industry.
  • Ability to drive commercial vehicle (van/towing trailer).
  • Familiarity with event management software, CRM systems, or digital communication tools.
  • An enthusiasm for the Porsche brand and automotive culture.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Based in Moreton-in-Marsh, save for when facilitating events which are throughout the UK.
  • Full time working hours
  • A dynamic, enthusiastic working environment within a unique automotive community.
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in national-scale event delivery.
  • Career development and training
  • Deep exposure to Porsche, the company, the cars, the brand and the community.
