Job description

The UK Athletics (UKA) Events Team is looking for a full-time Event & Operations Senior Coordinator. This is a permanent opportunity.

Role Overview

You will play a pivotal role in executing UKA’s major events programme and support the Strategic Lead for Major Events and the Head of Events in their daily responsibilities.

Reporting directly to the Head of Events, you will lead planning, logistics, and operational implementation for indoor and outdoor track and field events, collaborating with various functional areas.

You will also coordinate and deliver non-track and field domestic competitions and be part of the steering group for the UKA Cross Country Challenge Series.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the delivery of major athletics events in the UK. UKA collaborates with partners like the London Marathon Events and the Great Run Company through Athletic Ventures.

Requirements
  • Experience in delivering major athletics events and understanding of athletics event principles.
  • Knowledge of creating risk assessments, method statements, and event management plans.
  • UK driving license is essential.
