Job description

Exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a leading media & events group. This permanent role partners with event teams on planning, budgeting, and reporting for high-profile UK experiences. Ideal for someone commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working on-site at live events. Hybrid working available. ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent required.

We're working on a brilliant opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a hugely exciting live events and experiences group, known for delivering some of the UK's most memorable large-scale events.

This role is a rare chance to move into a commercially focused finance position where you're genuinely close to the action - partnering with producers, operations, and senior stakeholders to make sure events are financially sound from start to finish.

What you'll be doing:

  • Taking the lead on finances for several flagship events, acting as the go-to person for all things numbers
  • Partnering with event teams to build, manage, and reconcile budgets
  • Producing clear, accurate reporting pre-, during-, and post-event
  • Supporting with cashflow forecasting, scenario planning and risk/opportunity tracking
  • Representing finance on-site during event delivery (yes, some weekends!)
  • Liaising with internal tax, legal, and insurance teams as needed
  • Working closely with a brilliant Senior Finance Manager who'll support your growth
What you'll need:
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to work with non-finance teams
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills (SAP a bonus, not essential)
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple stakeholders
  • A calm head under pressure - events can move fast!
