Job summary

Choice Care in Blackburn is seeking carers to work evenings and alternate weekends, 4pm–10pm, delivering compassionate support to clients in their homes.

Applicants need at least 6 months' formal care experience; NVQ 2/3 in Adult Social Care earns £13.50/hr. We offer paid training, a pension, mileage, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a formal care setting (care home, domiciliary care, hospital).
• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Evenings and alternate weekends availability (4pm–10pm).
• NVQ (preferred) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support to service users to maintain independence.
• Assist with day-to-day living activities and personal care.
• Administer medications as required and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain documentation and ensure smooth operation of home care visits.
