Job summary

Lloyd's Register International is seeking a part-time Senior Youth Worker to lead high-quality youth sessions, manage staff and support volunteers. The role focuses on delivery for ages 9-13 and 14-19, with Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon-evening shifts.

You will plan engaging activities, assess risks, mentor junior staff, and produce reports on outcomes and impact, ensuring a safe, inclusive club culture.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of face-to-face delivery with children and young people.
• Relevant qualification required.
• Proven experience managing staff and supporting volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Session Delivery: Planning, supervising, and leading high-quality youth club sessions.
• Project Planning: Creating structured session plans for daily activities, termly projects, and workshops.
• Health & Safety: Writing robust risk assessments for onsite activities, trips and excursions.
• Staff Development: Supporting, mentoring, and upskilling part-time youth workers and volunteers.
• Reporting & Evaluation: Writing quarterly reports with activities, outcomes and impact, including quotes and photos.
• Youth Club Culture: Fostering a positive, safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
