Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking a Programme Facilitator to deliver rehabilitation interventions for people on probation, including group and one-to-one sessions across the NE region. You will monitor progress, provide feedback, and travel between locations for evening and weekend sessions.

A probationary period and safeguarding responsibilities are core parts of the role. You will work within the Interventions Team under the Programme Manager to deliver accredited programmes and structured

Qualifications

• Train in and deliver group work programmes for People on Probation as outlined in Accredited Programme Manuals and other interventions run by Programme Team
• Undertake regular feedback sessions and respond constructively to feedback
• Identify and take actions to protect children and vulnerable adults and promote welfare in line with safeguarding policies

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of rehabilitation interventions to change attitudes, beliefs and behaviour of people on probation
• Monitor participants' progress within sessions and provide feedback, recording progress in the systems
• Travel to different locations within the NE region to deliver programmes; travel expenses can be claimed
• Work evenings and weekends as required and participate in planning and preparation of programmes
• Support probation staff and partner agencies with workshops and briefing sessions
