Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking Programme Facilitators to deliver Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions for people on probation. You will lead groupwork and one-to-one sessions to help reduce re-offending, within a role based regionally with travel to multiple delivery sites.

The role requires evening work as a main component, with travel across the region and eligible unsocial hours payments. Starting salary is £28,064 (pro-rata for part-time), with potential pay progression under

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of rehabilitation interventions aimed at changing attitudes, beliefs and behaviour of people on probation.
• Deliver groupwork and individual work to people subject to Community Orders or on licence after release from prison.
• Travel across a large regional area to deliver programmes from multiple sites; travel expenses can be claimed.
• Work a majority of time in the evenings; unsocial hours payments apply (30% for evenings, 50% on Saturdays).
