Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd in Sheerness is seeking a compassionate care assistant to join our Complex Care team. You will provide person-centred care, including personal care, infection prevention, and vigilant supervision to keep the young client safe both at home and in the community.

We value resilience, reliability and the ability to read social cues, with full training provided and a free DBS check.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential.
• Knowledge of Autism or ADHD.
• Ability to read social cues of non-verbal clients.
• Ability to interpret body language or to use visual aids such as PECS.
• Consistency, emotional resilience & the ability to build trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care including personal care support.
• Maintain infection prevention and control measures.
• Provide consistent supervision to ensure safety at home and in the community.
• Support daily activities and wellbeing for the client.
