Job summary

Sainsbury's Huntingdon store is looking for a Trading Assistant on a permanent part-time basis (17 hours per week) at £13.23 per hour. Availability includes 3 evening shifts starting at 17:00 and Sundays, with potential extra days after interview.

You’ll stock the shop, assist customers, check dates on groceries and fresh produce, and support deliveries in a fast-paced store environment focused on value, quality and great service.

Responsibilities

• Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15KG) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping our shelves clean, tidy and full of well-presented products.
• Always ready to serve our customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions, and proactively offering help
• Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
• Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
