Job summary

Independence Village Plymouth is hiring a part-time Server – Wait Staff to provide courteous dining service and maintain clean service areas. The role runs 4pm–8pm, with opportunities for growth and teamwork in a resident-focused environment.

The successful candidate will follow food safety standards, perform setup and breakdown tasks, and ensure timely delivery of quality meals while upholding professional hygiene and conduct.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service and foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in a professional manner to residents and guests.
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Perform side work and setup/breakdown duties.
• Ensure residents and guests receive high quality food promptly.
• Maintain professional behavior and good personal hygiene.
• Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed.
• Handle resident concerns and complaints tactfully.
• Follow all Dining Services Standards of service.
