Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead the day-to-day cleaning operation at Mansfield Bus Station, NG18 1SU. This 25-hour-per-week role runs Friday 4:00pm–12:10am, Saturday 2:30pm–12:10am and Sunday 2:30pm–11:10pm, year-round.

You will supervise cleaning colleagues, allocate duties and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety on site. The ideal candidate has cleaning experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a collaborative approach to service delivery within

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Supervisory or team leader experience is desirable.
• Great communication skills to coordinate with staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting cleaning colleagues.
• Allocating cleaning duties and monitoring standards.
• Cleaning toilets and washrooms.
• Wiping down surfaces and touch points.
• Hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
• Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed.
• Reporting cleaning supply requirements and site issues.
