Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking Evening School Cleaner to join our team. As an Evening School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of an educational institution in LU2 LUTON, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff. This is a part-time position for 2.5 hours in the evenings, Monday to Friday. Ideally, the person will already have DBS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and dusting

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas

• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling

• Refill soap and paper supplies in restrooms

• Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other surfaces

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor

• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling of cleaning equipment

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, lifting, and bending

• Reliable transportation to and from the school in LU2 LUTON
