Job summary

Fernwood School is seeking a part-time cleaner to join the site team, responsible for cleaning classrooms, toilets, changing rooms and offices to a high standard. The role runs three hours each weekday evening from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, with full training provided.

Experience is not essential, as training is given; an Enhanced DBS check is required, and visa sponsorship is not available. A generous benefits package includes pension, CPD opportunities, and employee support services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning in classrooms, toilets, changing rooms, offices and across the site.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, polish floors, scrub, dust and clean touchpoints.
• Use domestic and industrial cleaning equipment and materials.
• Collect and dispose of waste.
