Kindred is seeking reliable cleaners to work in an educational site in Southwell, performing general and deep-cleaning duties. The role requires DBS clearance and the ability to work independently to maintain clean classrooms, toilets, and shared areas.

You will ensure safety and high standards while contributing to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The position is based at The Minster School, with shifts aligned to site needs and a 0-hour contract.

Qualifications

• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Clear and effective written/verbal English communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely on your own.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in classrooms, toilets and common areas.
• Clean and sanitise surfaces, touchpoints and furniture.
• Empty bins and restock soap, towels and toilet rolls.
• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks and using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and support colleagues as needed.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment and be courteous to staff and visitors.
