Job summary

PVC Building Supplies Ltd is seeking a Late Shift Transport Planner for Tonbridge. The role focuses on planning and adjusting delivery routes, supporting drivers, and ensuring the late shift runs smoothly. You will use MaxOptra to optimise routes and respond quickly to delays, changes and operational issues.

The ideal candidate is organised, detail-minded and able to communicate clearly. Experience in logistics helps, but is not essential; microsoft Office and learning new software quickly are

Qualifications

• Organised and capable of planning routes and managing delays.
• Experience with route planning software preferred.
• Clear communicator for drivers and teams.
• Willing to learn new transport software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and adjust delivery routes to optimise efficiency.
• Coordinate with drivers and dispatch teams.
• Resolve route issues and minimise disruption.
• Keep routing information and records accurate.
• Monitor route performance and identify improvements.
• Communicate changes clearly to drivers and colleagues.
• Support wider transport and delivery operations.
• Assist with picking, packing and loading vans when required.
