Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our radiology team. Qualifications

• Two years of hospital experience preferred; training as a Student Radiology Technologist in a hospital will be evaluated as part of the two year experience.
• Graduate of an AMA approved program in radiology for registration eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for exams by reviewing requests and ensuring appropriate resources.
• Perform exams and prepare patients, dispatch to next modality/location.
• Develop/Process films per department protocols.
• Conduct quality control and ensure procedure completeness.
• Ensure information is available for radiologist reports and communicate wet readings when needed.
• Maintain records for exams/requisitions/film cycle.
• Maintain radiography equipment per guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep an adequate stock of supplies and perform duties ethically and professionally.
