Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk, is recruiting for full-time Machine Technicians to join the production team and support growth plans. The role includes setting up, running and fault-finding on the machine, plus performing timely label and scale checks as part of daily duties.

Successful candidates will hold Level 2 H&S awareness and Level 2 Food Safety, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and complete required documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 H&S awareness.
• Level 2 Food Safety.
• Understanding of risk assessments and safe working procedures.
• Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Be able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and fault find on the required machine.
• Conduct label checks at the required timings (start, 30 minutes, end).
• Complete scale checks (WPL and OCM) at a minimum frequency of 4 times per day.
