A leading food & drink wholesaler in Cardiff seeks a committed individual for a customer service role. Responsibilities include managing stock, ensuring quality, and accurate picking of goods. Candidates should have a strong customer service ethic and a proactive attitude. We value diversity and support flexible working arrangements.
You will be expected to ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working in various areas of the store, so no two days will be the same. Whether it’s filling shelves, serving on the tills, managing stock levels, or picking deliveries, everything you do matters in ensuring our customers receive everything they came for, served quickly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers.
You will be responsible for the accurate picking and dispatch of goods using a handheld terminal, and for informing the manager of any discrepancies.
Checking quality, shelf life, and ensuring packaging is robust in preparation for delivery is also part of your role.
Providing high standards of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting targets is essential.
Politeness when dealing with delivery staff and appropriate responses to queries and complaints are expected, with complex issues referred to a manager.
A proactive attitude and comfort with working to meet designated pick rates are required. Always be punctual, well-presented, and ready to serve our valued customers.
