Vets Now in Swansea is seeking a Part Time Animal Care Assistant to support our clinical teams in a busy emergency clinic. You will help care for in-patients, assist with procedures, and maintain a calm, stress-free environment for the animals.

Shift patterns include evenings across Week 1 and Week 3, with additional bank holidays. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for CPD and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting clinical teams in a veterinary setting.
• Ability to handle patients during basic procedures.
• Comfort working in an emergency clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical teams with in-patient care and comfort.
• Support Vet Nurses and Vet Surgeons during procedures.
• Help set up and clear theatres for surgeries.
• Ensure basic husbandry for in-patients is attended to.
