Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver at Reading East Delivery Office to perform multi-drop deliveries with a focus on excellent customer service. You will prepare vehicles, plan routes, and deliver parcels to customers across the assigned area.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence with up to six penalty points, and offers an afternoon/evening shift pattern, weekend work as per local rota, and opportunities for career development within the Royal Mail group.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Good punctuality, organisation and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Prepare van and workload for the day and use route-planning tools.
• Deliver parcels across the assigned area as part of a multi-drop route.
• Interact with customers and act as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
• Work Saturday and Sunday according to rota; shift between 14:00 and 20:00.
