Job summary

Atlas FM is hiring a reliable cleaner for a nursery setting in Sonning, Reading. The role involves after-school hours: Monday to Friday, 18:00–20:00, with full training provided on-site and safeguarding guidelines explained before first shift.

You will perform routine cleaning tasks, follow site procedures, and support a safe environment for children and staff. A valid Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) within 3 years or willingness to obtain one is essential, along with the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) dated within the last 3 years or willingness to obtain one.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Two satisfactory references.
• Ability to follow safeguarding requirements and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties: wiping, mopping, hoovering and dusting.
• Follow site-specific cleaning and audit processes.
• Ensure cleaning standards meet health and safety requirements.
• Report issues promptly to support clear communication.
• Adhere to site rules and safeguarding protocols.
