Job summary

Eton College invites applications for a part-time Music Schools Evening Steward to help maintain security and smooth operation of the Music Schools building during evening hours. Based in historic surroundings, the role supports a busy schedule of rehearsals, lessons and events across seven days a week in term time.

You will be the main contact for pupils, staff and visitors, assist with room bookings and event setup, perform light clerical tasks, and uphold safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficient IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to juggle tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and operation of Music Schools building during evening hours.
• Serve as main point of contact for staff, students and visitors.
• Assist with room bookings, rehearsals, and event setup.
• Support clerical tasks and coordinate with teachers for schedules.
• Ensure safeguarding and safety of students on site.
