Job summary

University of Plymouth is seeking a part-time Student Experience Assistant to join the Charles Seale-Hayne Library. The role provides first line IT support, face-to-face and remote assistance, and customer service to students and staff.

You will troubleshoot IT issues, log requests in Sunrise ITSM, manage user accounts, and support printing and resource access. Evening shifts during term-time are required, with no home-working and a focus on reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience troubleshooting a wide range of IT enquiries.
• Attention to detail and ability to learn new IT applications quickly.
• Comfort with using digital platforms in a library setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line IT support and customer service to students and staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, log requests in Sunrise ITSM.
• Triaging enquiries and referring to other teams when needed.
• Support print, copies, resource access and general equipment usage.
• Record statistics and assist with learning space management.
