Job summary

Goldcrest Cleaning Ltd is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for a recently won Infant School contract in Leamington Spa. This part-time role features two-hour shifts (6.30am–8.30am), totaling 10 hours per week across 38 term-time weeks plus 2 weeks for a deep clean.

The position involves sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning corridors and toilets, with full training provided. Previous cleaning experience is preferred; enhanced DBS and references are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different site requirements.
• Prior experience with cleaning equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
