Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the busy Catering team at Frimley Park Hospital. This part-time role covers 20 hours per week, 5 days out of seven, 17:00–21:00, focused on delivering high-quality patient, staff, and visitor dining service.

You will assist with food service, help with food preparation, deliver meals to wards, operate tills, and support daily operations while upholding cleanliness and food hygiene standards. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience and a Food Safety Certificate are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve in patient and staff dining areas and assist with food preparation.
• Deliver meals to wards and support the smooth running of the department.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
