Job summary

Bradcare is seeking a Community Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in clients’ homes across Swadlincote and surrounding areas. Evening shifts are available, with a strong emphasis on dignity, respect, and independence for service users.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. Female applicants only for occupational reasons; join a supportive team with induction training and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality care in clients' homes.
• Deliver person-centered care tailored to each individual's needs.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Support individuals living with dementia and other complex needs.
• Administer medications as trained and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: washing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement.
• Assist with medication administration per training and procedures.
• Support meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Assist individuals with dementia and complex needs.
• Light housekeeping and domestic tasks.
• Maintain documentation in line with GDPR.
• Report safeguarding concerns and changes in wellbeing promptly.
