The Glasgow Marriott Hotel in Glasgow is seeking a reliable Casual Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team on day and evening shifts. This flexible role covers guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to brand standards, with training provided.

You’ll work across times, with typical shifts from day to evening, including 5:00pm–11:00pm during events. We offer free meals on duty, uniform, and a friendly, supportive team in a global hotel brand.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, with full training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, especially for evening shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to brand standards.
• Complete evening cleaning tasks and ensure areas are ready for guests.
• Replenish amenities and supplies as required.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, polish, and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or lost property to the appropriate department.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Work as part of the Housekeeping team to complete daily tasks and maintain high standards.
• Help ensure the hotel remains clean, tidy, and welcoming during the evening.
