Job summary

Mane Infrastructure is seeking a CPCS 360 Excavator operator for a contract lift in the Croydon area. You will safely operate a 360 excavator to carry out excavation, trenching, and earthmoving tasks in line with project specs and health and safety requirements.

Applicants must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS card, have proven 360 excavator experience on construction projects, and work well as part of a site team. Ensure daily inspections, PPE use, and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Operator card.
• Proven experience operating 360 excavators on construction or civil projects.
• Ability to follow site health and safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CPCS 360 Excavator safely and competently.
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on the machine.
• Undertake excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and loading activities as directed.
• Work with excavation drawings, permit systems, and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with lifting operations where appropriately trained and authorised.
• Work safely around underground and overhead services, following safe digging practices.
• Coordinate effectively with banksmen, groundworkers, and site management.
• Report any defects, hazards, near misses, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and site-specific procedures.
• Wear and maintain the required PPE.
