Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for Churcher's College in Liphook. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and support the cleaning team in daily duties.

The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5pm–8pm, at a rate of £13.60 per hour. You will contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.

Experience in team leadership and a good understanding of health and safety is valued, along with a customer-focused mindset and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a cleaning team preferred.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school to the highest cleanliness standards.
• Supervise and support cleaning team to deliver efficient cleaning service.
• Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure duties are completed to required standards.
• Lead by example with a professional, positive, customer-focused approach.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, COSHH requirements.
• Communicate issues and incidents promptly to management.
• Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, visitors and colleagues.
• Secure premises and ensure areas are safe for use.
• Care for cleaning equipment, materials and storage areas.
