Job summary

Savills Company is seeking a part-time evening attendant to maintain high cleanliness standards across the mall and manage waste and recycling during late-night trade. The role supports retailer operations, environmental compliance, and overall presentation of the centre.

Hours are 18:00 to 00:00 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with a rate of £13.89 per hour. The position requires independent work, physical ability, and proactive communication with the Duty Manager and retailers.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, waste handling, or facilities roles is preferred.
• Understanding of recycling streams and environmental good practice.
• Ability to work independently during late-night periods.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, reliable approach.
• Physically capable of handling waste materials and operating equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• 18:00–20:00 Mall Cleaning: floor care, touchpoints, toilets, high‑traffic areas.
• 20:00–00:00 Waste & Recycling: collect waste, segregate streams, operate equipment.
• Ensure safety, PPE compliance, and proper housekeeping of yards and loading bays.
• Follow environmental procedures and report spills or hazards.
• Support retailers with waste queries during late‑night hours.
