Job summary

Eric Wright Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for Highfield Leadership Academy in Blackpool. The role involves supervising and carrying out cleaning of designated areas, reporting to the Area Cleaning Supervisor, and ensuring a clean, hygienic environment.

The position is term-time only (with 4 weeks deep clean) and hours are 3.00pm–6.00pm, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week). DBS enhanced check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas including toilets and showers using appropriate equipment.
• Move items of furniture as required.
• Follow Health and Safety at Work Act and other regulations.
• Relieve and assist in other establishments when needed.
• Attend meetings and report incidents or irregularities.
• Cover cleaning roles during absences and during term/closure periods.
• Follow COSHH guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals.
