Job summary

Chivas Brothers – Blythswood, Glasgow, is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join the team. You will maintain office areas, toilets and the bar area to high standards, using cleaning products safely and reporting issues to the manager.

This permanent part-time role offers 20 hours per week, with shifts Mon-Thu 16:00–20:00 and Fri 10:30–14:30, at £13.45 per hour. You will work as part of a supportive site team, delivering a consistently clean and welcoming workplace.

Qualifications

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain office areas to a high standard.
• Clean and sanitise toilet facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation within the bar area.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Report maintenance issues or concerns to your manager.
• Work effectively as part of the wider site team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout each shift.
