Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative to support facilities at Manchester Arndale. You will perform essential cleaning tasks in workspaces, ensuring safe, tidy environments for colleagues and customers.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 6pm–9pm, with hands-on duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bin emptying and occasional washroom cleaning. Training will be provided and you must have right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK.
• A smartphone to use Timegate Time and Attendance system.
• Background in cleaning is advantageous, but full training is provided.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tidying work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Hands-on tasks with standing for periods (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bin emptying).
• May interact with customers in open spaces and assist with queries related to cleaning or incidents.
• Complete Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.
