Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team at MTC Ansty. The role involves weekday evenings, 20 hours per week, with occasional extra hours for events, and a pay rate of £13.00 per hour.

You will carry out general cleaning of offices and communal areas, perform dusting, mopping, vacuuming and waste disposal, and ensure COSHH and health & safety procedures are followed. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and methods.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Adaptable during events.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and communal areas.
• Dust, mop, vacuum and sanitise surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of waste per site procedures.
• Replenish consumables (soap, towels, etc.).
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely.
• Follow COSHH and health & safety procedures.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with extra cleaning during events.
