Job summary

New College Pontefract is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to deliver a high standard of cleaning across the Pontefract site, within the Estates Team. The successful candidate will work independently or as part of a team, with the physical ability required to perform duties safely and effectively.

This permanent, term-time only role is 13.75 hours per week (Monday–Friday 3:45pm–6:30pm) plus 2 weeks (40 weeks), with a pro rata salary of £8,178.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning duties or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to work to cleaning specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of cleaning service across the Pontefract site.
• Work as part of the Estates Team and maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment.
