Job summary

lONGFIELD Academy is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join our Cleaning Team on a part-time, all-year-round basis. Working 10 hours per week, you will help provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the campus.

The role includes a range of cleaning duties across the campus, with training provided. You will work closely with the Cleaning Supervisor and Estates Team to uphold high standards for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Vacuum cleaning floors and carpets.
• Dusting and cleaning surfaces.
• Cleaning washrooms, toilets and sinks.
• Washing and storing crockery as required.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Emptying waste and recycling bins.
• Operating cleaning equipment after training.
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or concerns.
• Supporting colleagues to maintain high standards across the College.
• Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role as reasonably required.
