Job summary

OCS is seeking a Cleaner to support Croydon Probation Office, Monday to Friday, 5pm–10pm. The role focuses on delivering high cleaning standards while ensuring safety and customer service. You will work across facilities, respecting COSHH and site procedures.

The ideal candidate has UK work rights, DBS willingness, and a pro-active, detail-oriented approach with flexibility to support site needs.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, public sector or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
• Awareness of health & safety standards and cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and waste disposal.
• Clean welfare areas, offices and washrooms to required standards.
• Replenish consumables like toilet paper, towels and soap.
• Follow health & safety, COSHH and cleaning procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor and work to timelines.
• Maintain a professional, courteous approach with customers and colleagues.
