Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting for a cleaning role with Monday to Friday morning shifts. Successful applicants must complete police vetting before employment begins and will work within custody-related cleaning scopes.

Responsibilities include following cleaning specifications, completing ad hoc tasks, maintaining equipment, and upholding confidentiality and COSHH guidelines. Flexible hours and weekend work are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
• Excellent time management.
• Attention to detail and proactive.
• Experience in working within a team as well as on your own - essential.
• Knowledge of COSHH.
• Previous experience within similar role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning specification and work schedules including Custody but not Foul Cells.
• Complete ADHOC jobs as requested by your line manager.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Due to the nature of the work confidentiality is always required.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are always followed.
• Follow the safe use of chemicals guidance (COSHH).
• To ensure the handover of any outstanding work.
