Job summary

Wiltshire Council is recruiting a part-time Cleaner for the Melksham leisure centre. You will maintain high hygiene standards, work with Duty Managers, and support reception and catering tasks as required.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00pm–10:00pm, across 15 hours per week. The position offers pro rata pay of £24,796 with an additional 10% unsocial hours for qualifying shifts, reflecting a flexible, community-focused role in Wiltshire.

Qualifications

• Understands principles of cleaning techniques and processes.
• Experience cleaning in a commercial environment is desirable.
• Contributes to a safe, hygienic environment for staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and effective cleaning service.
• Collaborate with Duty Managers.
• Replenish stock and report issues affecting cleaning.
• Support other areas such as reception, catering and children’s activities when needed.
