Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a meticulous Cleaner to join our leisure centre team in Melksham. You will deliver a high-standard cleaning service, working with Duty Managers and balancing duties across reception, catering, and children’s activities as needed.

The role operates with a hybrid model, offering on-site work with some admin time in a workplace, and includes a 15-hour weekly schedule and a pro rata salary of £25,614 plus 10% unsocial hours for qualifying shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a commercial environment.
• Understanding the principles of cleaning techniques and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient and effective cleaning service maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with Duty Managers, replenish stock and report issues that hinder cleaning.
• Support other areas as needed, such as reception, catering and children’s activities.
