Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in London is seeking an Evening Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams. This full-time role covers 35 hours per week with shifts from 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm, 5 days out of 7, in a high security environment requiring UK citizenship and a DV clearance (or ability to pass).

You will work to keep environments safe and hygienic, perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, sanitising touchpoints, and monitor supplies.

Qualifications

• Must be a British citizen and have been in the UK for 5 years or more.
• DV clearance or ability to pass DV clearance check.
• 35 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, evening shift (2:30 pm–10:00 pm).
• Experience in cleaning is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain environments to high hygienic standards.
• Dust, sweep, mop, polish, vacuum designated areas.
• Sanitise surface areas, floors, windows, and touchpoints.
• Manage waste disposal and restock cleaning supplies.

Due to this role being in a high security environment, all applicants must be a British citizen and have been in the UK for 5 years or longer, and must not of left the UK for more than 2 months at any one time in the last 3 years.

We're currently recruiting full time Cleaners to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Government Services contracted to 35 hours per week. Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
