Job summary

The Club Company in Exeter is seeking an Evening Cleaner to join our team. You will ensure a pristine and safe environment across the Club, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor and handling daily and routine cleaning tasks in guest and public areas.

You will replenish supplies, operate cleaning equipment, and adhere to COSHH guidelines and PPE usage. Regular training and team meetings help us maintain excellence and ongoing development in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
• Willing to work evenings.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and routine cleaning tasks across the Club.
• Replenish essential supplies such as soap and toilet paper.
• Operate cleaning equipment to remove dust and polish surfaces.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in public and guest areas.
• Report faults or maintenance needs and follow health & safety guidelines.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Evening Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our guests experience a pristine and safe environment. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and routine cleaning tasks throughout the Club, ensuring all areas, including floors, walls, sinks, and toilets, meet our high cleanliness standards. You’ll also manage the replenishment of essential supplies such as soap and toilet paper, while using mechanical cleaning equipment to effectively remove dust and polish surfaces. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in carrying out deep cleaning across both public and guest areas. Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and COSHH guidelines, will be essential in your role. Additionally, you’ll report any faults or maintenance needs and participate in ongoing training to keep informed about best practices and equipment use. To help you grow in your role, you’ll attend regular training sessions and team meetings, ensuring we continue to improve and maintain excellence in all areas.

Schedule:

• We operate a 7-days a week business, with weekends and bank holidays
• Evening Cleaning shifts begin 18:00 or later
