Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a dedicated Day Cleaner to join our on-site team at one of our premium UK golf and country clubs. You will ensure a pristine and safe environment for guests by performing daily to routine cleaning across public and guest areas, including replenishing essentials like soap and toilet paper, and using cleaning equipment in line with COSHH guidelines.

• Experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow COSHH guidelines and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks across all club areas to high hygiene standards.
• Clean floors, walls, sinks and toilets and replenish supplies like soap and toilet paper.
• Operate cleaning equipment following health and safety guidelines.
• Report faults or maintenance needs and participate in ongoing training.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our guests experience a pristine and safe environment.

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and routine cleaning tasks throughout the Club, ensuring all areas, including floors, walls, sinks, and toilets, meet our high cleanliness standards. You’ll also manage the replenishment of essential supplies such as soap and toilet paper, while using mechanical cleaning equipment to effectively remove dust and polish surfaces. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in carrying out deep cleaning across both public and guest areas.

Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and COSHH guidelines, will be essential in your role. Additionally, you’ll report any faults or maintenance needs and participate in ongoing training to stay informed on the best practices and equipment use.

To help you grow in your role, you’ll attend regular training sessions and team meetings, ensuring we continue to improve and maintain excellence in all areas.

Schedule

• We operate a 7-days a week business, with weekends and bank holidays
• Day Cleaning shifts can begin from between 06:00 - 09:00, dependant on club requirements
