Job summary

Dine Contract Catering Ltd is seeking an Evening Chef Supervisor to lead the evening service at our site in the UK. The role is hands-on, focusing on delivering great food and exceptional service during Friday to Sunday evenings.

You will supervise the team, ensure high food quality, manage stock, and oversee cashing up and safety procedures. This position requires a proactive, customer‑facing leader committed to delivering a seamless shift.

• Experience in culinary or food preparation within catering, hospitality, or food service.
• Experience supervising or managing a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Organised, reliable, and confident making decisions independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evening catering team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Prepare and serve fresh food while maintaining high quality standards.
• Manage stock levels, stock takes, and ensure products are available and well-presented.
• Handle cashing up procedures and maintain financial controls at end of service.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards throughout the shift.
• Take responsibility for smooth running of the operation in the absence of senior management.

Up to £15.00 per hour | 16 Hours per Week

Friday: 6:00pm - 11:00pm

Saturday & Sunday: 6:00pm - 11:30pm

Lead the Evening Service

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced chef supervisor to take charge of our evening catering operation. This is a hands‑on role where you'll lead the team, ensure exceptional customer service, and help deliver a smooth and successful service every shift. What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and motivating the evening catering team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Preparing and serving fresh food to customers while maintaining high food quality standards
• Managing stock levels, completing stock takes, and ensuring products are available and well-presented
• Handling cashing up procedures and ensuring accurate financial controls at the end of service
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards throughout the shift
• Taking responsibility for the smooth running of the operation in the absence of senior management
