Job summary

Harper House, part of Phoenix Futures Scotland, seeks a Night Care Worker to support the evening Therapeutic Community programme within our National Specialist Family Service. You will organise and facilitate residents' activities, supervise a rolling night shift, and monitor risk while assisting with daily preparation and medication administration.

Previous experience is not essential; we value compassion, flexibility and a commitment to recovery.

Qualifications

Understanding of issues presented by individuals within drug and alcohol recovery.
Experience with families in the substance use sector or related field.
Ability to be innovative and flexible to meet service needs.
Ability to work effectively with multi-agencies while maintaining service reputation.
Knowledge of adult and child protection is essential.

Responsibilities

Organise and facilitate evening activities and the daily programme for residents.
Co-ordinate service users' tasks and activities.
Provide waking night cover and monitor risk to residents.
Organise and facilitate residents in preparation for the daily programme.
Monitor and administer medication to service users.
