Bluebird Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. You will support customers at home with personal care, meal prep, medication support and light housekeeping, delivering care with dignity and respect.

We offer paid travel time, 45p per mile fuel, enhanced Bank Holiday rates, fully paid induction, and opportunities to gain Health & Social Care qualifications. Flexible hours, paid annual leave and a supportive team complete the package.

Qualifications

• Availability from 4pm - 10pm
• Alternate weekend availability
• Full Driving Licence & own reliable vehicle
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
