Job summary

Bluebird Care Cheshire West and Flintshire is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our expert team. You will support clients at home, delivering compassionate care, personal support, meal prep, and medication assistance while working evenings 3–4 times weekly with alternate weekends if available.

We offer full induction and ongoing expert training, a friendly team, 24/7 support, and rewards such as DBS checks, a friend referral scheme, and long service awards as part of our committed care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration.
• Assist with medications under supervision and safe disposal of medicines.
• Carry out light housework and domestic tasks as required.
• Be a dependable, friendly face and provide 24/7 support where needed.
• Attend full induction and ongoing expert training.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
• Full induction and ongoing expert training

Requirements

• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
• Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
